So, in effort to use all of my leftover ham and not have to put any in the freezer I have been thinking of different ways to use the ham. Well, tonight for dinner I made a ring with ham, mashed potatoes and corn in it. So here is the recipe if you are ever interested. :)
Leftover's Ring:
Ingredients:1-2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
4-8 servings of Instant Mashed Potatoes
(prepared - uses milk, water and butter)1/2-1 cup of frozen
(or canned) corn
3/4-1 1/2 cup of diced ham
(or any other meat you have leftover)The smaller amounts will make enough for 2-4 and the larger amounts will serve 4-8.
Directions:Preheat oven to 375°F
In a large bowl prepare the mashed potatoes according to the directions (I used the microwave). Once the potatoes are mixed add in the ham and corn and mix until thoroughly combined.

On a large pan (I used my
Pampered Chef Large Round Stone) place the crescent rolls with the short edge of the triangle to the middle and over lap the triangles creating a circle. Once you have all the crescent rolls down press the overlapped portions together creating a wide flat surface. Then spoon on the potato mixture until all is used. Once you have all the potato mixture on take the point of the crescent roll and pull it over top the potato mixture and affix it to the inside of the circle, repeat until all the points have been affixed to the middle.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Serve hot.
Serves 2-8.
