Well, not much of anything exciting has been going on around here. Bryan and I have been contimplating buying a condo. We aren't sure whether we want to rent something or try and stretch and buy a condo so that we wont be throwing money away. But on the other hand we live in such an inflated area that its kinda difficult to get into something. Something decent and in a decent area is going to cost roughly $350K and if we want a 2 bedroom so we can start a family before buying a house thats going to start in the $420k range. Why do stupid people have to raise the prices of their homes so much so that people that make decent money can't even afford to buy a house. To some extent to live in Los Angeles if you are making minimum wage you must have like 3 or more jobs to be able to afford to even rent anything. Our small 600 square feet 1 bedroom apartment cost us near $1200/month, thats roughly $14-15k in rent every year which is more than someone minimum wage is making. Then they want you to prove that you make 3 times what your rent is. If you can't tell I am getting quite frustrated at this whole housing thing. And I would LOVE to move home to Rancho and get my old job back and live in SunScape and have a 2 bedroom apt for less than we pay now, with about 300 or more square feet. Or heck if we moved back there we could even most likely buy a decent house instead of a condo!!! Housing is just rediculous and has gotten out of hand. But I think that I am going to step off my soapbox now and talk about something else.
Let's see, well the New Year has started and so many things are already planned. We are going on a cruise in April with almost our entire family. There will be 19 of us going. Isn't that exciting???? A couple of Bryan's Aunts and Uncles are going and his parents and cousins and then from my family, my mom and 2 sisters and 1 niece. I am very excited but at the same time I am not because guess what? I am in charge of the WHOLE thing!!!! AHHHAHAAHHHHH!!! :) Do your realize how much crazy madness goes into planning a trip for 19 people? It's crazy!!!! There were 8 different credit cards and lots of details and one very dingy travel agent!! So because we are traveling as such a large group we are getting a "Cocktail Party" for free which will have an open bar and snacks. They are also going to take a group picture of all of us and each cabin gets one 8 x 10 for free. :)
Well, the next thing is we are planning a surprise party for Bryan's parents 30th Anniversary. Now things have started to get stressful because Bryan's oh so lovely Aunt has decided to try and take over and if you know me well that just doesn't sit well with me. This was my idea from the beginning and I NEVER asked for her help at all, all I asked for were some ideas on how to get his parents back to church that night dressed in nicer clothing. Now shes trying to get all possesive on me. GGGGRRRR that just ticks me off!!! Well, I won't try and dwell on it and there will hopefully be more to come soon on this.
Well, I think that I should probably go now and I will talk to you all later!!! :)
