The Last Week or So. . .

So, I have been slacking on updating my blog! ;) So the day before Thanksgiving my poor mommy lost her puppy to a dumb coyote!! So, she really wanted another one and was very hesitant about going back to the same lady for fear of being yelled at for letting the dog get eaten. Well my sister and her went back anyway on Sunday and bought this little cutie pie. :)

Bryan and I also got creative and made a gingerbread house (from a kit of course) and we were going to take it to our Bible study Christmas party but as you can see from the pictures it looks very sad!!!! It did however bring lots and lots of laughter and fun. :)

Speaking of the Bible Study Christmas party, that was on Saturday night. I did most of the preparing and the main dish. I made the same ham that I made for Thanksgiving. And yet again we end up with a rave review. :) I gave the credit to Alton Brown once again. :) The thing I was most proud of making for that party was a cracker dip. :) Something I just put together and it ended up being really really good!!! :) But here are some pictures to enjoy from the party. :) I think that is all the updating I have at the moment but I am sure I will have much more as this is going to be a busy couple of weeks. :) And that we are going to my dad's the day after Christmas. :) We also went to Brad Garrett's house tonight and we installed gas logs. He unfortunately wasn't there due to the press conferences he needed to attend for his longtime co-star Peter. Well, goodnight blogworld.

That is awesome that you got to go to "Robert Barone's" house, but it was probably for the best that he was gone. Even if he was home, I am sure he would have been grieving there, you know?

Hey Becky,

Thanks for the ham recipe! I am going to try it this weekend when Mike's parents are in town. You took a great picture (as you said) of Bennett. You are quite talented - cook, photographer, quilter, etc.
