So, I have been working on a baby size quilt for a little over a month now. When I first bought the material my mom thought I was a little crazy because it was really really bright and wild. :) I got it anyway and wanted to start on it right away, well that wasn't really possible since I started having issues with my sewing machine. So, my mom came out and helped me but then we realized we needed to have the backing material and we went out and bought the background material and started cutting it. The center part of the quilt contains 288 pieces, sewing together that part took the longest. :) This is probably the hardest thing I have ever put together, and I learned a lot doing it, however the sewing machine is going to be put away for a while. :) But here are some pictures of the finished product.
So, last night out of anticipation we went over to Brian and Lillian's to give the quilt to Ezra. He loved it and couldn't decide what to look at. :) Here is a picture of Ezra opening (I think) his first Christmas present. :) And the rest of the pictures are of him enjoying the quilt. I am very excited that they like it so much because I feel like I am appreciated!!! :) Lillian also made dinner for us all and it was very tasty!!! Well, if I don't post again before Christmas! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!! :)
