Christmas Week. . .

Well, Bryan and I have had an eventful week. :) Christmas Eve we got up late and leisurely found our way to my mom's house. My mom was an incredible ball of stress due to her ex-husband and his wife coming to her house. :) So once I got there I started making the infamous ham I have been making all season and the mashed potatoes. My sister Charron finally got there and she helped mom to finish cleaning before Gil and Coleen got there. Once everyone was there my mom seemed to relax a little. :) We all were hanging out and talking. Most everyone went down to the Christmas lights and walked the 1.6 miles to and from the lights. :) Then everyone went home and Bryan and I stayed at my mom's and Katie came over and openned her gifts from Bry and I. She also got to see the puppy for the first time. :) Her and Snuggles got a long very well. :) Christmas morning we got up and mom was frantic again, she wanted to wash the dishes so we went and got dish washing detergent and then we got home and I was going to wrap the gifts that my mom had purchased and she couldn't find them. :) So we looked and looked and then she just gave up trying to find the one for Bry and I. Come to find out my sister had already wrapped it the day before. :) Well, after things wrapped up at my mom's we headed to Bryan's parents for more gifts and we stayed there for a couple of hours. We finally got to go back home and open the gifts that we got each other and some down time which was really nice.

However, our downtime didn't get to last too long as we were leaving the next day for Utah to visit my dad. :) Well, my dad called me at about 10:30am to let me know that he was at the California border and that I had about 3 or 4 hours (to get to my grandmas to meet him so he could tow me ALL the way back to UTAH!!!!! YEA!!!). So, we packed everything up and headed to my grandmas. :) We stopped off to see my mom for lunch and we went to Legends and that was yummy. :) After lunch we were finally off to my grandmas, once there we gave my grandma her presents and she loved them. :) Finally off to Utah we go, now its 3:20ish in the afternoon. Well, we get on the 15N and its PACKED!!!! We had traffic practically the whole way to Vegas. We finally got to my dad's house in Cedar City, Utah about 12:30am. So we all went to sleep. We got up the next morning to some really cold weather and some snow on the ground here and there. Bryan and I went to work with my dad, as he now owns a powder coating business, and he showed us how to powder coat and Bryan actually got to do some piecces. Well, on our way home from all that excitment we saw some buffalo and then it started snowing, the news and radio said 1-4" YEA RIGHT!!! In about 15-30 minutes we already had the the 1-4" and it kept coming and fast. :) I was enjoying this, however, my step mom I don't think was. :) Because it was snowing so hard Rhonda didn't want to go out, so we had dinner at home and in the middle of the night we ended up loosing power. I think my dad said it was about 12:30am. Well he still went to work in town and he had power which also meant a HEATER!!!! He finally got home about 11:30am and that is when the power finally came back on. It was getting reallly cold in the house as there was 18 or so inches of snow on the ground!!! So just as my dad was going to hook up the generator the power came back and it still took quite some time to warm the house up. The snow stayed for some time and we enjoyed it because we don't have to live in it. :) Well, I think that I have been really random and I am rambling so I will leave you with the pictures. Have a wonderful NEW YEAR!!!!!
