Well, never have I had such a range in customers attitudes in one day!!! Today we went back to a house to finish a job because something came in wrong from our manufacturers and the woman of the house was really friendly along with her brother and daughter. The woman's daughter is almost 6 and was as cute as ever, she had a book with her and she was "reading" out of it to Bryan and I. It was so adorable she even asked me if I wanted to hear the real story or a pretend story. :) Also, we take photos of our finished products so that we have before and after photos, so I was taking the after photo and the little girl wanted me to take a photo of the two of us. I did get one of just her that I will post later, she is adorable. :)
Then, later in the day we went to another service call. Now these people had been driving Bryan nuts since Tuesday and then called this afternoon to have us come out tonight, they wouldn't put a deposit down and Bryan had asked them to come into the store first to get an idea of what they liked, they refused. We went anyway and installed the log system the best we could and they were unhappy with how it HAD to be installed and couldn't understand why we couldn't just do it the way they wanted. GGGGRRRRRR!!!!! Some customers just DRIVE ME NUTS!!!! But this isn't even the icing on the cake. So, I helped Bryan install the log set and my hands were pretty nasty so I used the sink that was right next to the fireplace to rinse my hands then dried them on my pants and proceeded to measure the other 2 fireplaces, just like the customers asked me to do, and went to the truck to take out the trash and came back to the original fireplace. We were waiting and waiting through their hemming and hawing and they were giving Bryan ultimatums for payment. First, however, they accused ME of using their toilet!!!! EXCUSE ME!!!! Never would I use a customers restroom without asking first. She pulled Bryan in and asked him if I went in and used their bathroom and he told her no and she said can you ask her and he asked I said no. She continued to accuse me of snooping around their house!!! I cannot believe the audacity of these people. I very firmly told her that I did not use their restroom and I did not snoop, I only did as they asked!!! I also told her that I did not appreciate being accused of doing such things and that I had never been treated so rude in my life!!! We told them that they needed to pay us so we could leave and they still refused until Bryan guaranteed that he would give them free merchandise!! SERIOUSLY!! So Bryan informed them that he couldn't do that and that he would talk to the management in the morning they wanted us to call them at home! SERIOUSLY!!! Give it up people! So he told them if they weren't going to pay then they could discuss it with management in the morning and if they still wouldn't pay we would put a lien on their house. Some people are just sooooo rude it irritates me to my core! I was soooo upset by their accusations and rude behavior that I couldn't drive home. Well, now that you have all let me vent I will let you go back to your normal lives. :)

some people are seriously amazing. she must have been out to get you and she must have wanted to cause a problem. annoying!
