Ingredients:
4 Taco size flour tortillas
1/2 lb. of Ground Turkey, Beef or whatever meat you like. . .
Taco seasonings
1 can of refried beans
2-4 oz. of shredded cheese
2 oz. velveeta cheese (optional)
1 medium jar of salsa (your favorite - I will probably use Pace next time)
3/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
Preheat the oven to 350°
1. Brown the meat with taco seasonings. (However you usually make taco meat.)
2. Then get an oven safe container that is about the size of the flour tortilla and at least 2 inches deep. In the bottom of the container pour enough salsa to coat the bottom, spread it to cover.
3. Place a tortilla on the salsa and then layer refried beans, taco meat, cheeses, and salsa. Repeat this step two more times.
4. Place one more tortilla on top then put a thick layer of salsa on top making sure to coat the whole tortilla then sprinkle cheese and crushed tortilla chips on top.
5. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes until the center is hot.
Serve warm. You could put sour cream or guacamole on the side. :)
I hope everyone enjoys this as much as we did. It's now our lunch today as well. :)
