Well, before we left to New York, another blog coming soon, my niece Melissa called me up and asked me if I would make a dress for her almost 1 year old daughter, Sophia. I said sure but she wanted me to make the dress out of her husbands, Art, cami's. He is currently stationed in the middle east and should be coming home soon. She really wanted this dress for Sophia's party (at the end of June) and then when Art comes home. So I told her well send it to me but I can't start on it till I get back on June 4th and she said that was fine. :) So, once I got home and got the package I made a pattern and went to it. It took me about 5 hours and she had sent me 2 shirts and a pair of pants and I ended up using less than 1 shirt!! :) So here is the finished product and she asked for some girly adornments so it looked more like it was for a girl and less like for a soldier. ;)
