So, I was looking back at a post that I wrote in December of 2006 and WOW!!! I wrote a post about a quilt that I made which was #2 in my line of many quilts. Well, Saturday night I started #9 and in the old post I mentioned how hard that quilt was to make and all the pieces it involved!! ;) Well, this new one I am making is finally for myself, well really our living room, and now I really really enjoying sewing. Well, I enjoy sewing quilts don't ask me to make clothing items they may turn out a little wrong. ;) I have been sewing like crazy at night and starting project after project and I am totally enjoying it!!!! I have even been asked to make a quilt for money, crazy I know!! I have found that sewing keeps me from eating and being a sloth because I am at least being productive where if I was just watching TV I would just be lying on my bed most likely munching on something. ;) So I suppose this post is also a thank you to my mom for giving me my first and second sewing machines!!(which Bryan didn't really want me to have because he thought it would take up too much space.) :) Thanks MOM!!! :) And here she thought I would never sew!! (Neither did I for that matter!! ) ;)

Isn't it fun to see how we change and how much we learn!?
I can't wait to see the quilt, you always do a great job!
If I remember correctly, that first quilt (you know, the one laying on my almost 8 year old's bed) took over a year and you had a lot of assistance from your mom :) You really have come quite a ways! By the way, I don't think it is crazy that people are telling you that you can (and should) make some to sell (instead of just gift). You are quite talented!
